Used car sales are on a peak this month and industry noted a hike of 11 percent gain. Local deal of used car Fontana managed to sell 2,264 used vehicles last month and 2,683 by this month.

The Pontiac G6 was the best vehicle with 242 sales last month across the city. The rest of the Top 5 was the Chevrolet Impala, 139; Chevrolet Trailblazer, 130; Chevrolet Cobalt, 107; Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 87. Of the total deals, 43 percent were financed purchases, 42 percent were leases and 15 percent were cash purchases.
