Along with increasing gas prices, a tapering credit market, an unstable economy, car industry strikes and deafening sales figures, we certainly do not have much good news around to report to car shoppers lately. But then we have good news for you now . the prices of used cars are dropping.

According to a study of late "the average prices of used car sold at auctions declined during the first quarter of 2008 from the fourth quarter of last year." Apart from that even the prices for used SUVs, pickup trucks and other intersect utility vehicles are all dropping, used cars are going more inexpensive. This is the right time to buy a used car or a truck!
